Zapote & Kin Ha

Overview

Zapote Zapote Cenote derives its name from the nearby sapote trees.
This breathtaking water-filled sinkhole is nestled in a lush jungle alive with the sounds of birds.

Here, you'll encounter a unique giant rock formation shaped like bells, the origin of which remains a topic of debate.
This rare formation attracts divers from around the globe.

Zapote Cenote is particularly deep and dark, featuring a large hydrogen sulfide cloud at about 25 meters.

Zapote Cenote Kin Ha gets its name from a Mayan phrase meaning “sun and water.”
This cenote is home to numerous formations.

Rays of sunlight penetrate the cavern, illuminating the crystal-clear waters and creating stunning light effects that make this dive unforgettable.

The dive begins from a platform situated in the center of the cenote, descending along the wall to a moderate depth of 30 meters.
