The Advanced Open Water Diver course prepares the diver to dive independently.
For those who want to improve their skills to get the most out of diving, the Advanced Open Water Diver course has been created.
The course allows you to gain additional confidence and experience by practicing in real conditions under the guidance of a professional.
Thanks to the wide range of opportunities provided by the course program, everyone will be able to choose exactly what interests them.
Purpose of the course: to learn how to independently plan and conduct underwater dives:
- plan a dive route and follow the chosen route;
- plan the optimal group composition, equipment and supplies for each dive;
- plan a dive profile and follow the selected profile using dive tables, a dive watch and depth gauge, and a dive computer.
Prerequisites:
- OWD certificate
- minimum age: 12-14 y/o for Junior Advanced Open Water Diver and 15 y/o for Advanced Open Water Diver
- no medical contraindications to SCUBA diving
Upon finishing the course, you'll not only have explored various facets of diving, but your certified depth range will expand from 18 m/60 ft to 30 m/98 ft.
The course entails 2 mandatory dives: DEEP and NAVIGATION, and offers 3 elective dives to enhance your proficiency and familiarity.
Considering our understanding of local conditions and available diving options, we suggest opting for 3 of the following dives: WRECK, PEAK PERFORMANCE BUOYANCY, and ERICHED AIR.
